Girls just wanna have fun

For me inspiration for my work is not restricted to visuals. I feel music can have a big impact on my research. One album that I have been listening frequently throughout this project is 'Twelve Deadly Sins... and Some' by Cyndi Lauper. It's pop at it's best and it really puts me into the mood for dancing and getting creative.

Mr George Bush is asking

I think we can safely say, YES, yes I do.

This is an extract from a book I've collated from visual research I've gathered over the past few months. I think it is important (like La Ribot) to reflect on your material, documentation and ideas in a way other than the direct final outcomes.

More nice type

Mmmm. It's making me hungry thinking about it.

New dance craze sweeps the nation

These are photos taken from the shoot of the church inspired dance moves I created. The images are from the 'sign of peace' and 'the body of christ' steps. I plan to make a poster/ wall chart out of the poses that signify the Catholic rituals the best. The models attire is based on the 'so fashionable it's fit's in the bad taste category' look that seems to be regularly sported at clubs in Glasgow at the moment. I hope people will get the humour in my final outcomes. Even though there is underlying message I would like people to perceive my work as fun and hopefully they'll enjoy it.

Carpet inspirations

The Mitchell library has the best carpets. I love the loud patterns and the bright colours.
